Dylan O’Brien, Michael Keaton CIA Thriller Gets Release Date

Lionsgate and CBS Films have set Michael Cuesta’s “American Assassin” for a September 15 release date. Based on Vince Flynn’s spy novel series, the film will star Dylan O’Brien as Mitch Rapp, a CIA black ops recruit who undergoes deadly counter-terrorism missions. Michael Keaton will play Rapp’s instructor and Cold War veteran, Stan Hurley. The film follows Mitch and Stan as they are assigned by CIA Deputy Director Irene Kennedy to investigate a series of seemingly unrelated attacks.
