Robert Downey Jr. to Star in New 'Doctor Dolittle' Movie

According to a report, 'Iron Man' actor Robert Downey Jr. has signed on to star in Universal Pictures' 'Voyage of Doctor Dolittle'. The character, a physician who could speak to animals, was previously played on the big screen by actors Eddie Murphy and Rex Harrison. Stephen Gaghan, who directed the acclaimed George Clooney-starring film Syriana, will helm the flick in his family and children's film debut.
