Investigation launched into Russian interference in U.S. election

The Senate Intelligence Committee now says it will investigate possible links between Trump's campaign and Russia. Michael Flynn, Mr. Trump's choice for national security adviser, reportedly had five phone calls with Russia's ambassador to the U.S. in recent weeks -- one on the day the U.S. imposed sanctions on Russia for the alleged hacking of the presidential election.
