Use of Artificial Sweeteners Among Adults and Children on the Rise

A new study suggests that the use of artificial sugar by American children and adults has sky-rocketed in recent years. Consumption of foods and beverages with low-calorie sweeteners such as aspartame, sucralose and saccharin rose 200 percent among children, and 54 percent among adults between 1999 and 2012.
