U.S. Justice Department Rips Chicago PD in New Report

On Friday, the U.S. Department of Justice said in a new report that the Chicago Police Department engages in a pattern of excessive use of force, "that is unreasonable.โ€ Attorney General Loretta Lynch said at a news conference, "The pattern or practice results from systemic deficiencies in training and accountability, including the failure to train officers in de-escalation and the failure to conduct meaningful investigation of uses of force.
