According to the Associated Press, a Philadelphia teachers' organization is urging its teachers to wear "Black Lives Matter" T-shirts and write up daily lesson plans which would educate students on the movement during the entire week beginning January 23. The Black Lives Matter movement emerged after a succession of high-profile killings of unarmed black men and boys by police, but has since evolved into a broader racial justice political agenda.
